OXVA XLIM 4 Pod Kit – 1600mAh, 2ml

The OXVA XLIM 4 is a refillable pod device with a built-in 1600 mAh battery, three selectable power levels and a maximum output of 30W. It features USB-C charging rated at 5V/2A, a vertical airflow adjustment and a ring light that indicates power level and battery status. OXVA also lists a Pulse System among the device’s operating features.

The 2 ml TPD version includes one XLIM Top Fill Cartridge UNITECH 3.0 with a 0.8Ω resistance. OXVA specifies this cartridge for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping at 12–16W. The device’s 30W maximum should not be confused with the operating range of the supplied pod.

Power Settings, Airflow and Controls

The XLIM 4 provides Low, Medium and High power settings. The supplied manual instructs users to press the button twice within two seconds to adjust output. Airflow is adjusted separately using the device’s vertical airflow control.

The device is draw-activated. Its button controls settings, including the ring-light effects; the manual specifies four presses within two seconds to change the lighting. The ring light also provides battery-status information and operating alerts.

Battery and Charging

The XLIM 4 contains a built-in 1600 mAh battery and uses a USB Type-C connection with a stated charging input of 5V/2A. A Type-C cable is included in the manufacturer’s package list. That list does not include a mains power adapter.

UNITECH 3.0 Cartridge Specifications

The supplied cartridge belongs to the XLIM Top Fill Cartridge UNITECH 3.0 range. OXVA describes this range as having enhanced leak resistance and a 30-second quick-priming feature. These descriptions should not be interpreted as a guarantee against leaks or dry burning.

The XLIM 4 manual instructs users to wait at least 30 seconds after filling a new cartridge and to close the filling opening promptly.

These ratings apply to the cartridge range shown in the manufacturer’s technical sheet. Follow the rating and instructions provided with the particular cartridge being used. The kit’s package list includes one 0.8Ω cartridge, not all four resistance options.

XLIM Cartridge Compatibility and Anti-Burn Protection

OXVA’s technical sheet states compatibility with the XLIM pod range. However, cartridge compatibility and anti-burn functionality are separate matters.

The manufacturer’s cartridge comparison distinguishes the standard XLIM Top Fill Cartridge UNITECH 3.0 from the XLIM ABT Cartridge UNITECH 3.0. It shows that active anti-burn protection requires a compatible anti-burn device together with an ABT cartridge.

Fitting an ABT cartridge to the XLIM 4 does not enable active anti-burn protection.

Dimensions and Finishes

The XLIM 4 measures 121 × 26.2 × 15.2 mm and has a stated weight of 78.1 g. OXVA lists its construction materials as zinc alloy and IML/PU.

The manufacturer-listed colour and finish names are Black Carbon, Silken Black Leather, Silken Brown Leather, Silken Blue Leather, Silken Champagne Leather, Nacre White, Nacre Pink, Nacre Purple, Aurora Petal Pink and Aurora Petal Purple.
